Qualifications & Experience:
- Illinois licensed Registered Nurse or Illinois Certified School Nurse
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to students from diverse backgrounds
- Comfortable managing typical school health duties including injury assessment, medication administration, and care planning
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support student health and wellness throughout the day
- Administer medications, first aid, and care for minor injuries
- Manage chronic illness and create care plans in collaboration with families and staff
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Advocate for a safe, inclusive learning environment
