Providing essential healthcare support within K-12 educational settings, this per diem registered nurse role focuses on covering health rooms and offering one-on-one nursing care as needed. The position is based in Chicopee, MA, with nearby service areas including Granby, Holyoke, and Northampton. The contract runs from ASAP through June 20, 2026, offering flexibility for full-time coverage a few times per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to students and staff in school health rooms and during school events
- Provide one-on-one nursing support for students with various disabilities
- Monitor and manage health conditions, administer medications, and respond to emergencies
- Collaborate with school personnel to support student health and wellness
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Experience in pediatric and school nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work independently and handle diverse healthcare needs in a school environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Availability for periodic full-time shifts as required

- Primary work location: Chicopee, MA
- Additional coverage opportunities within 10 to 25 minutes of Chicopee (Granby, Holyoke, Northampton)
- Contract role with variable full-time coverage a few times monthly
