A Certified School Nurse (CSN) opportunity is available onsite in Chicago, IL, supporting elementary and middle school students across four locations. This full-time, contract position offers a flexible role where you will work closely with onsite Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide comprehensive nursing care and assist with Student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to students in elementary and middle school settings
- Collaborate with onsite RNs to deliver health care support
- Flexibly support nursing needs at up to four different school sites
- Assist in managing and supporting student IEP health-related goals
- Maintain thorough health documentation and communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) License is required
- Experience working as a Registered Nurse in school settings preferred
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule across multiple locations
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage student health needs and collaborate with educational teams
