Qualifications:

  • Current MA Registered Nurse license required
  • Experience in school nursing or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to provide clinical assessment and emergency response for medically complex, non-verbal students
  • Proficiency monitoring and maintaining airway patency, seizure activity, and vital signs
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with caregivers, educational staff, and health supervisors

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe bus transportation for a medically fragile student between Medford and Chestnut Hill
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and monitor patient comfort during transit
  • Respond effectively to seizure activity, respiratory concerns, and other medical events
  • Accurately document nursing interventions and assessments
  • Maintain consistent communication with the students nursing and care team
