A specialized nursing opportunity is available for a dedicated 1:1 Nurse to provide essential care to a kindergartener with severe needs. This contract position requires experience in tracheostomy care and offers a rewarding environment near Rome, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing care tailored to the individual needs of a kindergartener with severe medical conditions
- Manage tracheostomy care with precision and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate closely with educational staff and family to ensure continuity of care throughout the school day
- Monitor health status and promptly respond to any medical concerns or emergencies
- Maintain thorough documentation of nursing interventions and health observations
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN or LPN/LVN license applicable for school nursing
- Proven experience providing 1:1 pediatric nursing, particularly in school settings
- Skilled in tracheostomy care and management
- Ability to work 9 hours per week with flexibility to meet the child's needs
