A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide specialized health support in an elementary school setting. This contract role offers a chance to deliver hands-on care to students requiring medical assistance during the school day, working primarily with bus-riding students and providing one-on-one support for G-tube and tracheostomy needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer direct nursing care to students with complex medical needs including G-tube feedings and tracheostomy care.
• Monitor and support bus-riding students with health considerations, ensuring safety and comfort during transit.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to implement individualized health plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and document care provided in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or changes in student health status during school hours.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Arizona.
• Experience working within school health services or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills related to G-tube and tracheostomy care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
