Step into a rewarding opportunity working within a supportive school environment as a Registered Nurse for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract role runs from July 6th through August 14th and offers you the chance to make a direct impact while working in a close-knit team setting. Youll be stationed in one health room, leading care and supporting students and staff each day.

Key Qualifications:

• Current New York RN license required
• Experience in school nursing or pediatrics highly valued
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Compassionate, reliable, and highly organized

Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily assessment and care to students with routine or emergent needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and first aid per established plans
• Manage and maintain health records in compliance with state guidelines
• Act as a resource for staff regarding student health concerns
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families as necessary
• Ensure the health room remains a safe, welcoming space for all
