You will play a crucial role in supporting a student at an Adult Transition Services Camp, collaborating closely with school staff and creating a safe, caring atmosphere for learning and growth.

What youll bring:

• Current Texas RN certification/licensure (must-have)
• Prior experience in school nursing or working as an RN in pediatric or educational settings
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently, with compassion and professional integrity
• Adaptability to work a flexible schedule: approximately 4 hours per day, 3-4 days per week
• Dedication to supporting students with diverse needs in a school-based environment

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized, one-on-one nursing care to a student within the Adult Transition Services Camp
• Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and respond to medical needs as they arise
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with the schools multidisciplinary team
• Provide health education and uphold safety protocols for the students well-being
• Serve as a supportive advocate for the students medical and daily care needs during school hours
