A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated care in an early childhood school setting in Canton, OH. This role supports a 12-year-old female student in 5th grade who requires specialized nursing care during the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tracheostomy care and manage oxygen support for a wheelchair-bound student.
- Monitor health status and respond promptly to any medical needs.
- Collaborate with the students caregivers and school staff to ensure continuous care.
- Adapt to a flexible schedule with potential part-time or full-time hours from 7:00 AM to 2:30/3:00 PM.
- Be comfortable with intermittent scheduling, including missing days when the student is absent (the student may be out for extended periods, such as a week).
- Participate in remote interviews and parent meet-and-greet sessions prior to starting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio RN license required.
- Experience with tracheostomy care and managing complex medical needs in a pediatric setting.
- Ability to work independently in a 1:1 support role.
- Willingness to collaborate with paraprofessionals, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs who provide district supervision.
- Flexibility for part-time or full-time hours; interest in full-time should be specified.

- Canton, OH (close proximity to the students home, with bus transportation provided).
