A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to support an ESY (Extended School Year) summer program near East Somerville, MA. This program serves approximately 115 students from pre-kindergarten through post-secondary ages, offering a dynamic and meaningful setting for nurses passionate about pediatric and school-based care.
This position runs Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, beginning July 6th and ending August 6th, making it an excellent way to make an impact while maintaining work-life balancewith no weekends required.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to respond to a range of student health needs in a fast-paced, supportive educational environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide routine health care, medication administration, and emergency response for a diverse student population
- Collaborate closely with educators and school staff to ensure student safety and wellness
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with all state and district requirements
- Serve as a resource for students and staff on health-related matters throughout the duration of the program
