A contract position is available for a 1:1 Nurse to support a kindergartener with severe needs in a school setting near Calhoun and Rome, GA. This role requires 9 hours per week providing specialized care during the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing care to a kindergartener with severe medical needs
- Manage tracheostomy care with expertise and attention to detail
- Collaborate with school staff and medical professionals to ensure a safe learning environment
- Document nursing activities accurately and maintain compliance with school health policies
Qualifications:
- Current RN or LPN/LVN license with school nursing experience preferred
- Proven skills in 1:1 pediatric nursing care, especially trach care
- Ability to work independently within a school-based healthcare setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
