Job Description

This full-time, long-term substitute opportunity offers up to 34 hours per week, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic school environments and are passionate about adolescent health.

Your experience as an RN or LPN/LVN in school settings will be highly valued as you deliver essential care and foster a healthy learning environment. Youll collaborate with staff, provide health support for students, and act as a key resource within the school community.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RN or LPN/LVN license valid in Minnesota
  • Previous experience in school health settings or with adolescent populations preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency or high-pressure situations
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to school policies
  • Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct health care and first aid to students and staff
  • Manage and administer medications as prescribed
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation
  • Monitor chronic health conditions and develop care plans as needed
  • Support with health screenings and immunization compliance
  • Communicate with parents, staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs
