Job Description

A school-based Registered Nurse (RN) position is available for the remainder of the school year in Burnsville, MN. This role involves managing the health office in an elementary school setting within a contract position. The schedule is Monday through Friday with approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes per day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with chronic and acute health conditions throughout the school day
  • Providing first aid and care for injuries as needed
  • Assisting with health screenings and assessments for special services referrals
  • Promoting overall health and wellness within the school community

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Current Minnesota RN licensure (required)
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Minnesota Public Health certification (preferred)
  • Experience in public health, community health, pediatrics, or school health settings
