A school district in Buffalo, MN is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a summer contract position. This role is perfect for an RN with experience in school nursing who is available to work part-time hours Monday through Thursday during the summer months.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience or interest in school nursing
- Ability to work independently and handle routine student health needs
- Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and staff.
Location: Buffalo, Minnesota
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and health assessments for students during school hours
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Address minor injuries and illnesses, as well as chronic health conditions
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate any concerns to school staff
- Support health education and promote safety within the school environment
Schedule:
- Contract position for the summer
- Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
