Make a difference every day by supporting a young students health and educational journey in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to blend your clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse with meaningful participation in a childs school life as a classroom paraeducator.

Youll be responsible for providing dedicated one-on-one medical care to an elementary student, ensuring their well-being and inclusion while also helping with educational activities in the classroom.

What youll bring:

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing highly valued
• Comfort with both clinical and paraeducator responsibilities
• Compassionate approach, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset
• Willingness to accompany the student on their bus route to and from school

What you'll do:

• Deliver individualized nursing care and medication administration per students health plan
• Monitor and respond to the student's medical needs throughout the school day, including on the bus
• Support classroom learning by assisting with assignments and daily activities as a paraeducator
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding the students well-being
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all safety and privacy protocols

This position is located at a single school site with a part-time schedule (approximately 2728 hours per week, with potential for increased hours some weeks) and runs through the end of the school year.
