Job Description

A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized skills in 1:1 nursing care is needed to support a Kindergarten student with vent and trach needs in Bothell, WA. This role involves providing direct nursing care throughout the school day, ensuring the students health and safety. Transportation via bus support to and from school will be part of the students routine. When the student is absent, the RN will assist with district-wide nursing duties, including support in health rooms or care for other students within the district. This is an onsite position offering consistent hours in a rewarding educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care for a Kindergarten student requiring vent/trach support during the school day
  • Assist with bus support for student transportation
  • Monitor and manage daily health needs and emergencies related to the students medical condition
  • Support other nursing duties district-wide during student absences, including health room coverage
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to maintain a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Washington
  • Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care preferred
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting pediatric patients in a school setting
