Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role where your skills as a Registered Nurse make an essential difference in a students daily life. Located onsite near Bothell, WA, this position offers the opportunity to provide focused 1:1 support within a school environment during standard school hours (MondayFriday, 8:30 AM4:00 PM; 37.5 hours per week). Collaborate closely with a dedicated paraprofessional and be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to student success and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license within the state is required.
  • Previous experience in pediatric nursing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in seizure monitoring and management, as well as respiratory care, is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting students with complex medical needs is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to accompany a student on bus transportation as part of their daily routine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing support for a student with ADL needs, seizure care, and respiratory support.
  • Provide continuous monitoring and prompt intervention as necessary throughout the school day.
  • Collaborate with paraprofessional staff to ensure a safe and supportive educational environment.
  • Accompany the student on daily bus rides, ensuring their health and safety during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with the school team and family to ensure coordinated care and clear updates.
