A short-term contract position is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a school setting located in Bothell, WA, to provide nursing support during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role is ideal for a skilled RN with experience in school nursing, committed to supporting students health and well-being over a focused summer schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and health assessments to students in accordance with school policies.
- Manage and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
- Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide first aid as required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience working as an RN in a school environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Knowledge of pediatric care and common school health issues.
Position Details:
- Location: Bothell, WA
- Contract duration: July 6th through July 24th (Extended School Year)
- Schedule: 3-4 days per week
