This engaging position is based at one school near Bothell, WA, where youll play a vital role in providing compassionate, specialized care throughout each school day. Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state
- Experience or confidence in providing vent and trach care, preferably in a pediatric or school setting
- Ability to assist a student during bus rides to and from school
- Adaptability to support other school health room functions and students when needed
- Collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and reliable attendance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one nursing care for a kindergarten student, ensuring all daily medical needs are met
- Deliver safe, supportive care during student transport on the bus to and from school
- Coordinate closely with educational staff, healthcare providers, and students family
- When the assigned student is absent, assist the districts health rooms or other students requiring nursing support
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
