Providing specialized nursing care in an educational setting, this role focuses on delivering one-on-one support to a kindergarten student with vent/trach needs. Situated onsite in Bothell, WA, the position is a full-time contract commitment offering a meaningful opportunity to make a significant impact in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive daily nursing care to a kindergarten student requiring 1:1 vent/trach support.
- Assist with safe transport, providing necessary care and supervision during bus rides to and from school.
- When the assigned student is absent, perform nursing duties within the school districts health rooms or support other students as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- Experience or willingness to work in a specialized school nursing role, particularly with pediatric vent/trach care.
- Ability to efficiently manage time and respond to varying student health needs within a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators and families.
