A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide skilled nursing care in a school setting located in Boston, MA. This contract position is full-time with a schedule of 8 AM to 4 PM, working 40 hours per week. The assignment starts ASAP and runs through June 18, 2026. The role requires onsite presence with flexibility to commute between different school campuses within the district, serving students from PreK through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students at multiple school sites
- Monitor student health, administer medications, and provide first aid as needed
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement health plans
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with state and local regulations
- Complete required screenings and documentation in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license required
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
- Ability to travel and provide coverage at multiple campuses within the school district
- Must complete fingerprinting and CORI background checks
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
