Job Description
Providing nursing care in an educational setting, this contract role offers the opportunity to support the health and well-being of students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in Boston, MA. As an onsite classroom nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe and healthy learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to students within the school setting, addressing a variety of health needs
- Monitor and manage student health records and medication administration
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student wellness
- Participate in health education and preventive care initiatives
Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license is required
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with students and staff
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical nursing practices
Location: Boston, MA
Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Duration: Approximately September 8, 2026 to November 20, 2026 (tentative dates)
