A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School-Based RN or LPN licensed in Georgia to support the health and well-being of young students. This contract position is located in the Athens, GA area and focuses on providing nursing care to 4-year-old children within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Georgia RN or LPN/LVN license
- Recent experience with tracheostomy care (within the last 12 months)
- Ability to work effectively with young children in a school environment
Position Details:
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
- Serve a young student population requiring specialized nursing care
- Collaborate with educators and staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment
Responsibilities include administering medications, performing health assessments, managing tracheostomy care, and responding to medical needs throughout the school day. This role requires attentiveness, strong clinical skills, and excellent communication to ensure each students health and safety.
