Make a meaningful difference every day by supporting students health and well-being across a vibrant school community. This contract opportunity allows you to impact learners from PreK through 12th grade while utilizing your nursing skills in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.

Your schedule, ranging between 35-40 hours per week, will vary depending on the school site youre supportingsome days may start as early as 7:00 a.m. and others as late as 9:00 a.m. Each week, youll receive your schedule on Sunday, and youll need to embrace flexibility as assignments and locations may shift due to field trips and coverage needs. After a comprehensive two-week training period, youll independently manage the operations of a school health room, focusing on care, safety, and communication for diverse student age groups.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Missouri (verified via Nursys)
• Demonstrated experience with pediatric populations; ICU, ER, or prior school nursing preferred
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing schedules or environments
• Comfortable with modern technology for computerized charting and multitasking
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to float among multiple sites and support students from PreK-12

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to students and staff at varying school locations
• Manage health rooms, triage care needs, and respond calmly to emergencies
• Support field trips as needed, ensuring student safety and responding to health needs off campus
• Accurately document all encounters and care provided using digital systems
• Foster communication between students, families, and school staff
