A dynamic opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive health services within multiple school sites in the district near Kansas City, MO. This contract position requires a committed healthcare professional suited for a float nurse role, delivering care and support across PreK-12 campuses.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the general health room nurse covering several school sites, including attending field trips as needed.
• Provide health assessments, first aid, medication administration, and urgent care for students from PreK through 12th grade.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Maintain accurate student health records and adhere to district policies and state guidelines.
• Manage a flexible schedule with potential to work at more than one site per day, adapting to the needs of different schools.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Missouri.
• Proven pediatric nursing experience in a clinical or school-based setting.
• Comfortable working with a diverse age range, from PreK to 12th grade.
• Flexibility to float between schools and accommodate variable schedules.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
