Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse for a school-based opportunity in Benton Harbor, Michigan. This is a great opportunity for a nursing professional who enjoys working with children and is passionate about supporting student health, safety, and well-being in an educational setting.
Position Highlights
Provide nursing care and health support to students throughout the school day
Assess student health needs and respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical concerns
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
Monitor students with chronic health conditions and specialized medical needs
Develop and follow individualized student healthcare plans as appropriate
Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation
Communicate with families, teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers as needed
Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
Qualifications
Active Michigan RN license required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
Experience supporting students with special healthcare needs is a plus
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the school team
