Job Description
A healthcare professional with a current Massachusetts RN or LPN license is needed to provide nursing support within a K-12 school setting in Belmont, MA. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, delivering essential health services to students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Experience working in school health services or pediatric care preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle a diverse student population
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for school-aged children
Location:
- Belmont, Massachusetts (school setting)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and health assessments for K-12 students
- Manage student health records and maintain compliance with state regulations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and safety
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
