Job Description

A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide comprehensive nursing services in a K-12 school setting, supporting a primary and two middle schools with an approximate caseload of 1,550 students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract position is expected to last approximately 12 weeks, covering a leave of absence, and requires onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care and health assessments to students across multiple schools
  • Manage student health records and communicate with families and staff regarding health concerns
  • Administer medications, first aid, and emergency care as needed
  • Collaborate with school personnel to promote health education and wellness programs
  • Monitor and support chronic health conditions within the student population

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience working as an RN in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to supporting student health and safety

Location: Battle Ground, WA
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, onsite
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks (Contract)
