Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong assessment, emergency response, and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills and an approachable, compassionate demeanor
• Ability to work independently while also thriving as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care and first aid for illnesses or injuries during school hours
• Manage student health records, medication administration, and immunization compliance
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to address students health-related needs in the classroom
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic or complex health concerns
• Educate students, families, and staff on topics such as wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Serve as a key point of contact for public health requirements and in emergency situations
