Provide specialized nursing care for a young student with complex medical needs in an early childhood school setting in Barberton, OH. This full-semester contract position offers a flexible schedulepart-time or full-time hours available from 7:00 AM to approximately 2:303:00 PMand involves working one-on-one with a 12-year-old female student in 5th grade who requires dedicated support during the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled tracheostomy care and manage oxygen dependency
• Assist with mobility needs as the student is wheelchair-bound and communicates primarily through eye gazing
• Coordinate care alongside a dedicated support team including para-pro, RBT, CNA, or LPN personnel
• Adapt to an irregular schedule, understanding that the student may be out of school for extended periods and the nurses attendance will adjust accordingly
• Participate in remote interviews and parent meet-and-greet sessions as part of the hiring process
• Comply with school district requirements including fingerprinting and signed contract procedures prior to starting

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Proven experience managing tracheostomy care and oxygen-dependent patients
• Comfortable providing one-on-one nursing support in a school environment
• Ability to be flexible with attendance based on student absences
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with school staff and family members
