Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsement for Certified School Nurse
• Previous school nurse (CSN) experience strongly preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is a major advantage
• Flexibility, dependability, and excellent teamwork skills are crucial
• Strong attendance and reliability essential; consistency supports school communities effectively

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage all operations of the school health office
• Complete comprehensive medical reviews for students as needed
• Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Section 504 processes as a valued team member
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and other professionals to promote student health and safety
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and communication
