Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsement for Certified School Nurse
- Previous school nurse (CSN) experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a major advantage
- Flexibility, dependability, and excellent teamwork skills are crucial
- Strong attendance and reliability essential; consistency supports school communities effectively
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage all operations of the school health office
- Complete comprehensive medical reviews for students as needed
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Section 504 processes as a valued team member
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and other professionals to promote student health and safety
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and communication
