A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one student support within a school setting in Anoka, MN. This role involves working onsite to care for a medically fragile student with specialized medical needs. The position requires dedication, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage complex health conditions in a pediatric environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for a student requiring tracheostomy management, ventilator support, and continuous feeding via G-J tube.
- Perform ostomy care and changes as needed.
- Monitor and manage respiratory treatments, including nebulizer use.
- Administer nasally delivered medications for seizure management when required.
- Support the student's complex medical needs including adrenal insufficiency.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and communicate effectively with the education and healthcare team.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
- Active CPR/BLS certification.
- Proven experience in tracheostomy care; pediatric experience preferred.
- Ability to work 38 hours per week onsite during school hours.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent interpersonal skills.

- Onsite presence required within a school in Anoka, Minnesota.
