This role offers an opportunity to provide critical, hands-on care as an onsite, school-based Registered Nurse supporting a medically fragile student in Anoka, MN. Working 38 hours per week on a contract basis, you will manage specialized nursing care within a school environment, ensuring the students health needs are met comprehensively and with compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing support to a student requiring complex medical care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management.
• Provide ostomy care, including changing as needed, and manage continuous feeding through a G-J tube.
• Monitor respiratory status, administer nebulizer treatments, and support seizure management with nasally administered medication.
• Oversee care for adrenal insufficiency and maintain oxygen equipment.
• Collaborate closely with school staff and healthcare providers to optimize the students safety and well-being throughout the school day.

Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Proven experience with tracheostomy care.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong ability to work independently within a school setting and handle medically complex cases.
