Seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to provide on-call nursing support within a K-12 school setting in Andover, MN. This per diem, strictly on-call position is ideal for an RN skilled in school nursing who is available to cover for absences, call-outs, and planned vacations of school nurses. The role supports student health and wellness across the school district, ensuring continuity of care during staff absences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing coverage on an as-needed basis for various K-12 schools
- Deliver direct student health support, including assessment, care, and emergency response
- Assist with administration of medications and health treatments following school policies
- Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school district and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with school nurses, staff, and families to support student well-being
- Follow established health protocols and respond promptly to student health issues
Qualifications/Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and student needs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable and responsive to on-call scheduling requirements

Schedule: Strictly on-call, Monday through Friday; no guaranteed hours
