Make a lasting difference in a student's life as a Virtual, Part-Time Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT). In this rewarding contract role, you'll bring your specialized knowledge as a Reading Specialist to provide highly individualized, intensive reading intervention for one studentfully online and with the flexibility of five hours per week.

Your expertise will help foster confidence and academic growth in your student, working closely with educational partners to achieve meaningful communication and learning outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Academic Language Therapist (CALT) or Reading Specialist
• Demonstrated experience delivering virtual reading intervention or related services
• Knowledge of explicit, systematic, and research-based literacy instruction
• Understanding of IEP processes and documenting progress
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver intensive, one-on-one reading intervention sessions virtually, tailoring instruction to the unique needs of the student
• Use explicit, systematic techniques to address identified reading challenges and build literacy skills
• Collect and analyze baseline data to guide intervention planning and measure student progress
• Maintain detailed documentation of provided services and progress toward targeted IEP goals
• Collaborate regularly with the students case manager and school team to coordinate support and adjust instructional strategies as needed
