Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Education or a related field
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement(s)

- Previous experience as a Reading Specialist or with early childhood literacy programs is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support in reading and literacy for K-2 students within the library and classroom settings
- Collaborate with teachers to design and implement engaging, evidence-based reading curricula
- Facilitate small group and one-on-one reading interventions
- Organize and manage library resources to create an accessible and inviting learning environment
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide literacy initiatives
- Track and report on student progress to faculty and administration, adapting strategies as needed for student success
