Qualifications:

  • Valid MA Reading Specialist certification
  • Strong background in literacy instruction and assessment
  • Experience working with K-12 students in diverse educational settings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based reading intervention practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized reading instruction to K-12 students as indicated by their individual learning plans
  • Assess students reading abilities and track progress using structured tools and data-driven methods
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to coordinate intervention strategies
  • Develop resources and materials to support differentiated instruction and student engagement
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
