Job Description

An opportunity is available for a High School Reading Specialist dedicated to supporting students in improving their literacy skills. This part-time role is based in Easton, MA, and focuses on working with high school students to help them achieve reading proficiency and academic success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing targeted reading instruction and interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and special education staff to develop and implement effective literacy strategies
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional approaches accordingly
  • Supporting students on a specialized caseload and maintaining accurate records of their development

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Special education certification
  • Reading endorsement demonstrating expertise in literacy instruction

Position details:

  • Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week
