Qualifications:
- Valid MA Reading Specialist certification
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
- Deep understanding of diagnostic reading assessments and intervention methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A passion for fostering literacy development across a range of ages and abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted reading interventions for assigned students based on assessment data
- Develop and implement individualized literacy plans aligned with state standards
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers to integrate effective reading strategies
- Monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Facilitate family communication regarding student growth and recommended supports
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and program enhancement initiatives
