Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Wilson Reading Certification is required
• Experience working as a Reading Specialist or in a similar reading intervention role, especially within elementary schools

• Excellent communication skills, both with students and collaborative teaching teams
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet a range of learning needs and progress levels
• Organization and reliability to manage caseloads and data requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted reading interventions and direct instruction to elementary-age students
• Assess literacy skills, evaluate progress, and maintain detailed documentation of student growth
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational team members to tailor reading plans
• Implement the Wilson Reading System to ensure consistent and structured literacy support
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing an engaging, positive learning environment
• Utilize a variety of resources and tools to meet diverse learning styles within the school day
