Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Wilson Reading Certification
- Experience supporting elementary students with targeted reading interventions
- Familiarity with evidence-based literacy programs and progress monitoring
- Ability to develop individualized reading plans and adapt instruction to meet diverse needs
- Strong communication skills for partnerships with teachers, parents, and administrators
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused reading instruction to elementary students in individual and small group settings
- Assess students reading abilities and design intervention strategies using the Wilson approach
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation for ongoing evaluation
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other specialists for coordinated literacy support
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions to ensure best practices
