Key Qualifications:

• Wilson Reading Certification is required
• Reading Specialist experience in school settings, preferably at the elementary grade level
• Ability to assess, plan, and deliver individualized reading instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Passion for supporting diverse learning needs and fostering student confidence

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted, small-group, or one-on-one reading remediation and instruction
• Implement effective evidence-based interventions to support students reading growth
• Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists to integrate literacy support
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on student development
• Contribute actively to a positive, inclusive school environment
