Elevate a student's learning experience by providing expert reading intervention as a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) in a virtual, part-time contract position. Your specialized skills as a Reading Specialist will empower a student to overcome reading challenges and make measurable progress toward academic goals. Youll be instrumental in delivering explicit, systematic reading instruction customized to the student's unique learning profile.

Qualifications & Experience:

• CALT certification required
• Experience as a Reading Specialist, ideally in a K-12 environment
• Proven ability to deliver targeted, individualized reading interventions
• Familiarity with explicit, systematic instructional strategies
• Comfortable working independently in a virtual setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive, one-on-one reading intervention virtually for a student
• Adapt and tailor intervention methods to meet the students specific needs
• Collect and analyze baseline data; consistently monitor academic progress
• Maintain detailed documentation of services and progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate effectively with the students case manager and broader school team
• Communicate interventions and progress in a clear, timely manner
