Qualifications and Experience

• Active CALT certification required.
• Background as a Reading Specialist, preferably with experience in school-based settings.
• Proficiency delivering one-on-one, virtual reading intervention.
• Solid understanding of explicit, systematic instruction for reading.
• Comfort adapting interventions to meet individual student needs.
• Familiarity with collecting and analyzing academic data.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for documentation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, high-intensity reading intervention virtually to one student, ensuring each session targets specific areas for growth.
• Plan and implement lessons using evidence-based strategies tailored to the learners needs.
• Collect, document, and regularly review baseline and ongoing academic data to monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided and progress toward IEP goals.
• Work in close partnership with the students case manager and the broader school team for comprehensive student support.
