Step into an impactful elementary school role as a Reading Specialist, supporting students near Rehoboth, MA. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Wilson Reading Certification (required)
- Experience supporting elementary school students in literacy development
- Strong understanding of evidence-based reading interventions and strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students reading strengths and areas for improvement, using data to guide instruction
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate targeted interventions aligned with individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and staff to coordinate reading supports
- Communicate progress and strategies with families and educational teams
- Maintain accurate student records and document intervention outcomes
- Foster an encouraging, positive learning environment
Position Details:
- Contract position, beginning ASAP and continuing through June 26, 2026
- Part-time schedule: 20 hours per week
- Elementary grade level focus
