Key Qualifications:
- Valid Wilson Reading Certification is required
- Experience delivering specialized reading interventions at the elementary level
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and data-driven instruction for reading
- Ability to develop and implement individualized reading plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Previous work in educational settings, preferably with early elementary students
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct reading assessments to identify student strengths and areas in need of growth
- Plan and deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions using Wilson Reading System methodology
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to align reading strategies within the curriculum
- Communicate effectively with parents to support student achievement and literacy development
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
