This position is for a High School Reading Specialist located in Easton, MA, offering a part-time contract opportunity with 20 hours per week across three days. The role focuses on supporting high school students in developing and enhancing their reading skills to improve academic performance.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required.
- Special Education certification.
- Reading endorsement necessary.
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of students effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify individual student reading needs and create tailored intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to integrate reading strategies into the curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
- Support students in special education settings with targeted reading interventions.
