Job Description
Make a direct impact by supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting. This contract opportunity involves working closely with students from 1st through 12th grade, providing dedicated 1:1 assistance and implementing behavior intervention strategies to nurture student growth and success.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric environment preferred
- Ability to support students across a wide range of grade levels (1st12th)
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and students
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized behavior interventions based on student-specific plans
- Work 1:1 with students, focusing on positive reinforcement, social skills, and behavior modification
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to promote a positive educational experience
- Collect and record data to monitor student progress and inform ongoing plan adjustments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute input to support each students goals
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding student information
