Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician within vibrant school communities near West Chester, PA. This full-time, contract assignment offers 35 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 10, 2027. With five immediate openings availablethree positions at Chester Upland School of Arts focusing on an Autistic Support classroom (K-2), and two positions at Toby Farms Middle School (male RBT candidates only)youll play a vital role in fostering positive change for special education students.

To excel in this role, you should bring:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification; ability to maintain certification independently if district supervision is unavailable
• Previous school-based experience, particularly with special education and behaviorally challenged students
• Flexibility and adaptability to shifting classroom needs
• Reliable transportation and references
• Willingness to work fully onsite and comfortable navigating an urban educational setting
• Ability to obtain all required Pennsylvania clearances
• RBT certification documentation ready for submission
• Clear preference for candidates with strong professional presenceparaprofessionals are not eligible

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting K-2 students in an Autistic Support setting or middle school students, dependent on assignment
• Collaborating with educators and staff to implement individualized behavioral interventions
• Documenting student progress and participating actively in team meetings
• Managing challenging behaviors with a proactive, compassionate approach
• Maintaining strict adherence to privacy, compliance, and reporting requirements
