Qualifications:
- Valid and active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Previous experience working in Connecticut school settings highly preferred
- Experience supporting elementary and/or middle school students
- Solid understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions to students on assigned caseloads
- Collect and maintain detailed data on student progress and behavior
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and supervising BCBA to implement behavior intervention plans
- Participate in regular team meetings and support family communication, as needed
- Adjust strategies and interventions under supervision, ensuring alignment with student goals
- Contribute to a positive, supportive atmosphere for students and colleagues
