Job Description

This contract opportunity offers both full school year and summer work, giving you the flexibility to extend your assignment. You'll work one-on-one with students in an engaging school setting near Warwick, RI, providing essential assistance and helping them progress toward their individual goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA Therapist experience highly valued
  • Open to candidates with expired or inactive RBT licensureyour skills are needed!
  • Willingness to obtain a Rhode Island TA certificate (support provided if needed)
  • Passion for working directly with children and facilitating positive behavioral change
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Reliable, full-time availability (37.5 hours per week)
  • Experience in an educational environment or with students on a 1:1 basis preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to assigned students throughout the school day
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support teams to develop effective strategies
  • Encourage the development of social, academic, and life skills
  • Maintain a positive, supportive, and safe classroom environment
